Beckenham Rugby Club's men's 1st XV are top of Regional 2 South East after beating Hammersmith & Fulham 31-24 away last Saturday. They have won five of their six league games so far, with big wins over Dartfordians (60-21) and Brighton (50-17) along the way.
It's tight at the top, though. Sutton & Epsom are level on 20 points, and Beckenham travel there on Saturday 21 November in what could be the game of the season so far.
Beckenham men's next games:
Saturday 14 November: Beckenham v Battersea Ironsides (home)
Saturday 21 November: Sutton & Epsom v Beckenham (away)
Saturday 28 November, 2:30pm: Beckenham v Bromley (home), the first of two local derbies with Bromley RFC this season
Saturday 5 December: Beckenham v Gravesend (home)
The Beckenham Ladies play in Women's Championship South 1, a tough league with sides like Bath, Richmond and Old Albanian Saints, and they have had a difficult start to the season. Their next games are away at Trojans on Sunday 8 November, then home to London Irish Ladies on Sunday 22 November and Ivybridge on Sunday 29 November. The club always welcomes new players and supporters.
Kick-off times can change, so check with Beckenham RFC before you go. All their fixtures are on our Sports News page.
